Favorite Sport: “It really depends on what season it is. When I am in football season, football is my favorite. If I had to rank them, I would probably go basketball first and then football and track. But they all have their unique qualities that make them fun.”

Best Part of High School Sports: “All the friendships you make, not only with the players on your own team, but also the players from opposing teams. It’s fun to meet a bunch of new people.”

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “Sophomore year, we were playing in a Marawood North-South crossover game. We played against the No. 2 team in the state at the time, Wisconsin Rapids Assumption. We beat them and I also had my first dunk. It was cool to win that game in front of everybody from the conference.”

Best Advice Received from High School Coach: “To never get down. If you miss a shot in basketball, you can’t stop taking shots. You can’t hang you head over something that went wrong.”

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: “It’s the friendships because you meet different people in all three sports. Also, I enjoy staying busy and playing fun sports.”

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: “Definitely, the wear and tear it can take on your body. You go constantly from August to June, so you don’t have much down time. It gets hard always doing something, but it’s worth it.”

Favorite Opponents: “In basketball, it would definitely be Prentice. We combine with them for football, and then go up against them in basketball.”

Favorite College Team: Wisconsin Badgers.

Favorite Professional Teams: Green Bay Packers.

Cumulative GPA: 3.8.

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: “Cody Hanke of Marathon. He’s a very good athlete in everything he does. In football and basketball, he’s a very good competitor.”

College Plans: “Right now, I am looking at UW-La Crosse. He would like to study sports management. I would like to possibly play any of the three sports. Not sure yet if that will be football, basketball or track. I’ve also looked at Northwestern in Minnesota and possibly basketball there.”

Activities Outside of Sports: National Honor Society member, play the trumpet for the Rib Lake High School band.

I Find it Relaxing to: “I like to sit and watch the Packers or Badgers if they are on. I also like to go bowling or out to a movie with friends.”
