After a strong showing in the season-opening dogfight between top teams, Marquette got the nod from the coaches in the inaugural 2011 poll, as conducted by John Simon (Tosa East) and Brad Kuhl (Nicolet). Catholic Memorial entered as No. 2, while Kaukauna, Tosa West and Burlington rounded out the top five. Some boys teams have yet to play a match this season, which could be reflected in this week's final results.
