Favorite Sport: “Basketball is my favorite. I love volleyball, but I’ve been playing basketball the longest. I fell in love with basketball at a young age and it has always been a major part of my life.”

Best Part of High School Sports: “The relationships I’ve built with both my teammates and with my coaches. It’s been awesome playing sports with my friends.”

Best Advice from a High School Coach: “One of my coaches wrote me a letter and one quote stood out to me. It said, ‘Every player goes through a funk and every player goes through a hot streak. Whatever the streak is, always remember what got you there and what you want out of it. It doesn’t matter what other people think, what does matter is what you think. A mind is a very powerful tool.’”

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “So far, I’d had to say our regional final game in basketball my junior year. We were losing to Weyauwega-Fremont almost the entire game, but came back to win.”

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: “The friendships I’ve made with different girls in each of the different sports. Playing three sports keeps me focused. I have to manage my time well. I love sports and I love competing, and there is always something for me to do.”

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: “The toughest part is not having a lot of free time. But I don’t mind being in the gym. For me, it’s not that tough because I love it.”

Favorite Opponent: “For volleyball, it would be Valley Christian. They are our cross-town rivals and they put up a good fight every year. It’s always fun to play them.”

Favorite College Team: Wisconsin Badgers.

Favorite Professional Team: Green Bay Packers.

Cumulative GPA: 3.85.

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: “Cady Roedl of Beaver Dam in basketball. I’ve played with her in AAU as well as against her. She is a very good overall player. She is very fast and is one of the best passers I’ve ever seen. She is also a very good shooter.”

College Plans: “I’m not sure where I am going to go and am undecided what I want to study. I do know I am going to play basketball in college and go to a school where I can get a good education.”
