Dawson and Anderson were the top two scorers for De Pere last season. The Redbirds are off to an impressive start to the season as they beat Milwaukee Riverside and Divine Savior Holy Angels in the Thanksgiving Shootout at Brookfield Central. Morgan Anderson finished with 16 points in each of the first two games. Sussex Hamilton opens at #2 after an impressive start of their own to the season. Last year's runner-up Milwaukee King begins the season at #3 and Bay Port and Superior round out the top 5.

Division 2

Monona Grove returns their whole team from last season and started the season with a bang as they scored over 100 points in a win over Evansville to start the season. The Silver Eagles also got a victory over DeForest and open ranked #1 in the WisSports.net Coaches Poll. Pius XI have wins over Oak Creek, New Berlin Eisenhower and South Milwaukee and come in at #2 in the opening poll. New London, last year's state champion, open at #3 while Beaver Dam and Notre Dame finish out the top 5.

Division 3

Defending state champion Kewaunee starts the season at #1. Head coach Lynn Geier will need to replace Marissa Selner and Nicole Geier but battles injures to key players last season but were still able to win the state title. Neillsville won the D4 title last season but have since moved up to D3 and begin ranked #2 in the WisSports.net Coaches Poll. The rest of the top 5 includes, East Troy, Ladysmith and Xavier.

Division 4

Cuba City returns a young team that lost to Neillsville in sectional finals last season and open at #1 in the WisSports.net Coaches Poll.
