Athlete of the Week Dec. 3-9: Amanda Hunt, Grafton

Amanda Hunt, Grafton girls basketball, has been selected as this week's Army National Guard Athlete of the Week for the week of December 3 through 9 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net.
There were a total of 3034 votes cast this week with Hunt receiving 1007 votes while Jaimee Pitt, Amherst girls basketball, finished second with 794 votes.
Grafton (4-1, 2-1) beat Racine Park 67-61 on Tuesday, December 4 behind a career-high 31 points from Hunt. She connected on 10 two-point field goals, 1 three-pointer and finished 10 for 14 from the foul line.
Remember, the only way your favorite player can be named Army National Guard Athlete of the Week is to vote and spread the word. Look for next week's nominees to be posted on Sunday evening.
