Milwaukee King controlled the game from the beginning and pulled away for a 70-54 win over Arrowhead in the third place game of the Rathke Memorial Tournament in Franklin on December 29th, 2012.

Akaylah Hayes scored a game-high 24 to lead King, who also get 12 from Jamerka Martin. Kelly Smith and Ally May tied for a team-high 13 points for Arrowhead.

The teams would meet a week later in a non-conference game, with Arrowhead 74-54 win.
