Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN High School Basketball Awards.

The pre-season watch list was trimmed down to 15 semi-finalists, and five finalists for the award have now been selected. Winners are announced the week of the state tournament. Finalists are eligible for just one of the five awards. There will be a total of 25 finalists for the five awards, five different players for each award.

WSN Senior Boys Basketball Awads -- Point Guard Finalists:

Adam Beyer, De Pere -- Beyer led the Redbirds to an outright title in the FRCC as a senior and a spot in the sectional semi-finals. One of the state's tallest point guards at 6-6, he uses his size to see over the defense and find open teammates. He possesses a strong mix of size, skill, and basketball I.Q., making him an outstanding lead guard for De Pere.

Carlin Dupree, Milwaukee Bay View -- Bay View competes in the strong Milwaukee City Conference, earning First Team All-Conference recognition. He showed he could get the job done as both a scorer and distributor, averaging 22 points and 5.9 assists per game. As if that wasn't enough, he added 9 rebounds and 3.4 steals per contest as well.

Eric Kittel, Brillion -- You will be hard-pressed to find a tougher player than Kittel, who has been a standout on the hardwood and the gridiron for his father Pete Kittel for several years. Whatever play needs to be made, he finds a way to get the job done. That may mean scoring, which he can do with nearly 16 points per game, distributing the ball to teammates, playing hard-nosed defense, or making sure his teammates are in the right spot at the right times.

Austin Malone-Mitchell, Milwaukee King -- Despite missing a handful of games due to injury, Malone-Mitchell showed his importance all season, leading the Generals with 20 points per game, while playing an outstanding floor game as well. He shot highly from the floor and the free throw line, and is one of the top defenders as well.

Duane Wilson, Dominican -- Wilson may be the most dynamic player in the state of Wisconsin, capable of taking over games at will with his impressive blend of skills and athletic ability. He averaged 23.4 points per game on the year and shot an incredible 58% from behind the three-point line. Wilson added 4.7 assists and 2.1 steals per contest as well. One of the favorites for the WBCA's Mr. Basketball Award, Wilson has the Knights as a favorite to repeat as Division 4 state champions.
