Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN High School Basketball Awards.

The pre-season watch list was trimmed down to 15 semi-finalists, and five finalists for the award have now been selected. Winners are announced the week of the state tournament. Finalists are eligible for just one of the five awards. There will be a total of 25 finalists for the five awards, five different players for each award.

WSN Senior Boys Basketball Awards -- Wing Finalists:

Tuner Botz, Little Chute -- Botz teams with Kenneth Lowe for an incredibly versatile, productive duo for the top-ranked Mustangs. Botz is a capable outside shooter but does a nice job getting to the mid-range and attacking the rim as well. He leads the team with 16 points per game to go with 6.6 rebounds.

Deonte Burton, Milwaukee Vincent -- Burton is one of the most physical players in the state, and opponents have a hard time matching that physicality. Perhaps the best slasher in the class, Burton is relentless attacking the basket, either off the wing or off the pass. The Vikings finished 10-2 in the ultra-tough City Conference, with Burton's 17 points per game leading the way.

Nick Fuller, Sun Prairie -- The Cardinals had never won a Big Eight title since joining the league nearly 20 years ago, and hadn't claimed a league title of any kind since the late 70's. That changed this season however as Fuller helped Sun Prairie to a share of the Big Eight crown. Hitting big shot after big shot, he averaged 24.9 points per game on the year.

Jamaar McKay, Milwaukee Washington -- In a league full of outstanding individual players, it was McKay that took home Milwaukee City Conference Player of the Year honors. He led the Purgolders to a share of the conference crown, averaging better than 23 points per contest to go with nearly 6 rebounds per game. He was relentless all season, shooting an incredible 181 free throws, connecting at a 79.6% clip.

Tyler Semenas, Laconia -- Somewhat quietly the Spartans rolled through the regular season unbeaten and are 24-0 heading into sectional play. Semenas was the catalyst all year, averaging 20.9 points per game while adding a team-best 6.5 rebounds and 2.4 steals per contest as well. He shot 52% from the field overall, 34.8% from three-point land, and 70.6% from the free throw line.
