Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN High School Basketball Awards.

The pre-season watch list was trimmed down to 15 semi-finalists, and five finalists for the award have now been selected. Winners are announced the week of the state tournament. Finalists are eligible for just one of the five awards. There will be a total of 25 finalists for the five awards, five different players for each award.

WSN Senior Boys Basketball Awards -- Post Finalists:

Luke Fischer, Germantown -- Fischer has long showed considerable promise, and it has culminated in a huge senior season as he is one of the most improved big men in the country over the last few years. As the Warhawks look to repeat as unbeaten Division 1 champions, Fischer is the team's leading scorer at 20.9 points per game. A capable outside shooter, he is deadly when he catches on the block or in the lane, finishing at a high rate.

Toby Hegner, Berlin -- Hegner's versatility is impressive for a 6-10 forward, as he shows the ability to step outside hit shots (18 of 49 from three point line on the year for 36.7%) but also dominate in the paint where he either scores or gets fouled. For the year he averages 20 points, 12 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game.

Bennett Koch, Ashwaubenon -- The latest in a line of Koch brothers who have starred at Ashwaubenon, Bennett will head to Northern Iowa next season just like his older siblings. Helping the Jaguars to a third place finish in the tough FRCC, Koch averaged 16.7 points per game as he continued to develop into his body.

Kenneth Lowe, Little Chute -- Lowe has shown impressive improvement over the last two to three years, and developed into a player with numerous Division 1 scholarship offers before selecting UW-Green Bay. He does a little bit of everything for the Mustangs, who are 23-1 heading into sectional play. He is exceptional at attacking the basket, and finishes his opportunities, shooting 60.1% from the field this year. He also adds 6.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.7 blocks per game.

Brett Prahl, East Troy -- Brett teams with twin brother Alex to give the Trojans a pair of 6-9 forwards, something few schools in the state can match.  Brett is the more aggressive brother, averaging 20 points per game on the season. He does his damage around the basket but is also a capable free throw shooter, connecting on 81 of 117 free throws this season.
