WARNING!! THESE ARE JUST PROJECTIONS!!

WisSports.net has projected all Week 9 games that would impact possible playoff qualification and come up with a PROJECTED postseason field.

Remember that these are just projections and are very likely to change. Even one game going differently could alter the landscape for multiple teams in terms of qualification and divisional placement.

Last season was the first time in history that teams qualified for the postseason with less than .500 conference records when four teams got in under that scenario. This year, I have every team that finished over .500 in conference or at .500 in conference qualifying. They represent 217 spots. With 224 qualifiers (32 teams in each of 7 divisions), that leaves 7 teams that get in with under .500 conference records.

My projections have ten teams finishing under .500 in conference but over .500 overall:  Bangor, Brillion, Hillsboro, Kenosha Tremper, Martin Luther, Osceola, Random Lake, Stevens Point, Wauwatosa West, and Wisconsin Dells.

The tiebreaker to determine the 7 spots from those 10 teams is combined conference record of defeated conference opponents. In that scenario, Random Lake (.100) and Wisconsin Dells (.100) are eliminated with that tiebreaker, leaving Brillion, Martin Luther, Osceola, Stevens Point tied for the last three spots with figures of 0.14285. I believe the next tiebreaker is record versus playoff field. Brillion is 0-4 against my projected playoff teams, knocking them out under that qualifying.

With the 224 team field now determined, we can figure out the PROJECTED cutlines. My projections for the lowest enrollment number in each division are below along with past cutlines.
