Athlete of the Week Nominees, March 31-April 6

Below are the Sport Ngin Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of March 31 through April 6. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

Cory Cegelski, Green Bay Preble boys track and field, won the triple jump and ran a leg of the winning 800-meter relay. He also finished in the top five in the 55-meter dash and the long jump at the WTFA meet at UW-Whitewater.

Bonnie Draxler, Wrightstown girls track and field, broke the pole vault WTFA state indoor record with a height of 13 feet, 1 inch. She also won the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.2 seconds at the event at UW-Whitewater. 

Mitch Ebben, Shiocton baseball, tossed a 6-inning no-hitter against Algoma on Tuesday. He finished with 11 strikeouts in the 10-0 victory.

Aric Elmore, La Crosse Logan boys track and field, finished with a 23 feet, 5 inch long jump to break a school and 44-year-old meet record at the Madison West Relays on Saturday. 

Kayla Minor, Ashwaubenon girls soccer, finished with a hat trick in the Jaguars 6-0 win over Menasha on Friday.
