Athlete of the Week Nominees, April 7-13

Below are the Sport Ngin Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of April 7 through April 13. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

John Hatch, Lodi boys track and field, finished first in the triple jump (43 ft, 6.5 in) and long jump (21 ft, 10.25 in) at the Wautoma Invitational on Thursday. Both jumps are the second best in the state so far this season. 

Darian Molter, Marshfield girls soccer, scored 4 goals, including three in the second half to lead the Tigers past Wausau East 5-1 on Thursday. 

James Oelke, Ithaca baseball, threw a no-hitter and compiled 16 strikeouts in a 7-0 win over Wauzeka. He also hit a solo home run in the game. 

Makayla Pagel, D.C. Everest softball, tied the state record of 3 home runs in a single game when the Evergreens defeated Chequamegon 17-10. She also added 6 RBI in the game. In two other wins on Saturday, Makayla went 3-for-8 with one more home run and 4 RBI. 

Ceanna Soper, Arrowhead girls track and field, finished first in the 100 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles at the Brookfield East Lady Spartan Invite.
