The usual rainy weather, including lengthy delays both days, was not enough to stop some outstanding performances at the 2014 State Track & Field Meet.

In the team rankings, the Kimberly boys team won the title in Division 1, ending Brookfield East's three-year run at the top. Monroe ran away with the D2 crown, while McDonell Central captured the title in Division 3.

On the girls side, Kenosha Tremper won a second straight Division 1 team title. Hayward edged Dodgeville/Mineral Point by just a single point for the D2 championship. The four-year run as champion by Edgar in D3 came to an end, with Lourdes Academy grabbing the title.

Bonnie Draxler of Wrightstown and Kennedy Blahnik of Algoma made history, as both became four-time champions in two different events. Blahnik won the Division 3 shot put and discus for the fourth consecutive year.
