We asked and you voted. The results of our poll on who you think will win state titles in each of the 7 divisions.

Division 1:  Two-time defending champ Arrowhead was the landslide winner, receiving 518 of 1014 votes.
Division 2:  Kimberly, last year's unbeaten titlist, easily out-distanced the rest of the field, receiving 331 of the 964 total votes cast.
Division 3:  Three teams were very close, and several more were within striking distance, but ultimately defending champ Monona Grove's 172 votes narrowly edged the 159 of Catholic Memorial. A total of 899 votes were cast.
Division 4:  Big Foot and Somerset met in the 2012 year's title game with Somerset getting the win in overtime. In this preseason poll, the Chiefs got the edge with 221 votes compared to Somerset's 127. A total of 784 votes were cast.
Division 5:  Stanley-Boyd may have won the title over Lancaster last year but the Flying Arrows dominated the preseason poll, receiving 337 of 876 votes.
Division 6:  Saint Mary's Springs saw it's two-year title run ended last year when Shiocton grabbed the crown, but the Ledgers are the favorites heading into the season according to the fans, who gave them 215 of 781 votes.
Division 7:  Black Hawk was incredibly impressive in winning the D7 title last season, and received 192 of 726 votes from the fans.

Thanks to all who participated and in just over 3 months we'll find out if you were right!

Happy football everyone! Today teams begin practice around the state, with every group sharing a similar goal:  hoist a goal ball as state champion.

As the season gets underway, it's time for you, the fans, to vote for who you think will win state titles in each of the WIAA's seven divisions. The top ten in each division (sorted alphabetically) of the WisSports.net Off-Season Rankings are included, but those certainly aren't the only ones that could, or will, win championships. If you think it will be someone off the list, sound off in the comments below.
