Week 3 Rushing Leaders

In a battle of previously undefeated Bay Conference squads, West De Pere showed they're still one of the league favorites with a 42-0 victory over Luxemburg-Casco on Friday. Senior running back Dom Conway was his normal explosive self, going for 311 yards and 5 touchdowns on just 22 carries.

Week 3 Passing Leaders

We've seen this act before -- a Xavier quarterback putting up incredible numbers for head coach Dave Hinkens and the Hawks. Last year Matt Ferris broke numerous state records en route to WFCA Offensive Player of the Year honors. This season, Zach Simons has stepped right in and continued the high level of success. In a 44-28 Eastern Valley Conference win over Little Chute, Simons completed 24 of 30 passes for 382 yards and 4 touchdowns. He leads the state with 931 passing yards on the season and is tied for the state lead in touchdowns with 12. Against Little Chute he also added 96 yards and 1 touchdown on the ground.

Week 3 Receiving Leaders

In a 40-23 win over Valders on Friday, Storm receiver Peter Metzler produced a number of big plays in the passing game with quarterback Logan Brusky. Metzler hauled in 6 passes for 214 yards and 2 touchdowns, averaging 35.7 yards per catch on the day.
