Offense

Korey Jacobson, Sophomore (Baldwin, Wis./St. Croix Central), Wide Receiver of UW-Eau Claire
Jacobson set a school record for most receptions in a game as he caught 17 passes for 107 yards in his debut with the Blugolds against No. 11-ranked University of St. Thomas (Minn.) on Sept 6.  The previous school record was 13, set by Chris Herzog on Sept. 23, 1989 against UW-River Falls.

Defense
Jacob DeSantis, Senior (Rice Lake, Wis.), Defensive Line of UW-La Crosse
DeSantis recorded eight tackles, including seven unassisted, in UW-La Crosse's season-opening 24-8 victory at the University of Dubuque (Iowa) on Sept. 6.  He had a game-high 3.0 tackles for loss and recorded 1.0 quarterback sack.  DeSantis also had a forced fumble, which led to a UW-La Crosse touchdown to give the Eagles a 7-0 lead in the first quarter.

Special Teams
Andrew Belken, Junior (East Dubuque, Ill.), Linebacker of UW-Platteville
Belken blocked a punt that was picked up by a Pioneer to put UW-Platteville up 28-3 against Buena Vista University (Iowa).  His blocked punt was UW-Platteville’s first since Sept. 8, 2012. Belken also recorded four tackles.
