WIAC Athletes of the Week
(Week of Oct. 6-12)

FOOTBALL
Offense
Andy Puccini, Senior (Bartlett, Ill.), Running Back of UW-Platteville
Puccini led the Pioneer offense with 119 rushing yards and scored all three of UW-Platteville’s touchdowns in the Pioneers’ 24-14 victory over UW-River Falls.  He averaged 4.1 yards on his 29 carries.

Robinson helped slow down the UW-River Falls offense in a 24-14 triumph.  He led the Pioneers with three forced fumbles and 12 tackles - with three and a half of them going for a loss.

Nate Ray, Senior (Verona, Wis.), Punter of UW-Oshkosh
Ray averaged 43.3 yards on six punts during UW-Oshkosh’s 21-18 comeback victory over UW-La Crosse on Oct. 11.  His longest punt was a 52-yard boot in the first quarter.  Ray finished the contest with one punt inside the 20-yard line and one touchback.
