The 64 schools have been selected to participate in the 2015 Frontier Communications Mascot Challenge on WisSports.net, which will allow you, the fans, to decide which nickname or mascot is the best in the state.

Participants were selected from a pool of AD and fan nominations as well as selections by WSN staff, based on the uniqueness of the nickname/mascot, quality of supporting information submitted, and other factors. The winning school will receive $1000 for their school's athletic or general fund!
The first round of voting will be split into four regions, with each region voting over the course of one week. After the first round of voting is completed, the second round will commence, with six rounds total until a winner is selected.
First Round Voting:
Badger Region: February 9-13
Golden Eagle Region: February 16-20
Panther Region: February 23-27
Phoenix Region: March 2-6
Voting for the Badger Region will be available on Monday, February 9th. Stay tuned for more information. Remember, when your school is up for voting, the best way to build vote totals is to share the information with classmates, friends, family, and the community by posting the link to vote on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. as well as forwarding via email.
