The Sheboygan Falls Falcons have been selected as the Week 9 WisSports.net Team of the Week following a statewide vote on WSN. The team knocked off fellow unbeaten Kiel to grab the Eastern Wisconsin title. The Falcons were chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 9. A total of 8,589 votes were cast, as Sheboygan Falls' 3,234 votes votes narrowly edged Muskego's 3,225.

It was winner-take-all in Week 9, as Sheboygan Falls locked horns with fellow unbeaten Kiel for the Eastern Wisconsin Conference title. Trailing 7-3, Sean Mattek went in for a second from a yard out with just 15 seconds left in the first half, and Dustin Setzer added a pair of second-half rushing touchdowns to help Falls to a 24-7 victory. Mattek was outstanding as usual, carrying the ball 41 times for 171 yards and 2 touchdowns.
