Calli Delsman of Waukesha West girls' basketball has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of January 4 through 10 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 3,804 votes this week with Delsman receiving 1,518 of them. Chase Johnson of La Crosse Logan boys' basketball finished in second with 1,368 votes. 

Delsman finished with a game-high 21 points and grabbed 5 rebounds to lead the Wolverines past Mukwonago 59-53 on Friday. 

Mukwonago was the top-ranked team in Division 1 at the time of the victory. 

Delsman is averaging 11.8 points per game for the Wolverines (10-2, 5-0 in Classic Eight). 

Waukesha West, ranked No. 2 in the Division 2 WisSports.net Coaches Poll, hosts Catholic Memorial in Classic Eight play on Friday.
