Senior Girls Basketball Awards: Defense Finalists

Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN High School Basketball Awards.

The pre-season watch list was trimmed down to 15 semi-finalists, and five finalists for the award have now been selected. Winners are announced the week of the state tournament. Finalists are eligible for just one of the five awards. There will be a total of 25 finalists for the five awards, five different players for each award.

Olivia Campbell, Notre Dame -- Campbell, a UW-Oshkosh recruit, plays very well on the defensive end of the floor, and averages a team-high 13.5 points per game. Notre Dame faces Pulaski in a Division 2 sectional semi-final tonight. 

Jada Dayne, Waunakee -- Dayne averages 7.9 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.5 steals per game for the Warriors. Waunakee plays Stoughton in a Division 2 sectional semi-final tonight. 

Anna Dier, Algoma -- Dier, a UW-Green Bay recruit, averages 18.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.2 steals and 1.5 blocks per game for the Wolves. Algoma faces Weyauwega-Fremont tonight in a Division 4 sectional semi-final. 

Morgan Glatczak, Mukwonago -- Glatczak, a Ball State recruit, blocks or alters many shots on defense, rebounds well, and averaging 13 points per game for the Indians. Mukwonago faces Sussex Hamilton tonight in a Division 1 sectional semi-final. 

Jessica Schultz, Mineral Point -- Schultz, a Northern Michigan recruit, is averaging 16.6 points, 8 rebounds, 2.7 blocks and 2 steals per game for the Pointers. Mineral Point faces Cuba City tonight in a Division 3 sectional semi-final.
