Cassidy Huber of Alma Center Lincoln softball has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of May 23 through 29 after a vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 1,014 votes this week with Huber receiving 444 in all. Emily Draeger of Marshfield softball finished second with 301 votes. 

Huber helped the Hornets advance to Division 4 sectional play, defeating No. 5 McDonell Central 11-2 on Friday.

Cassidy hit a grand slam in the Hornets seven-run sixth inning to give them a 11-2 lead, a the score they would win by. 

Alma Center Lincoln's season ended on Wednesday in a 13-7 loss to Cochrane-Fountain City in a Division 4 sectional semi-final. 

The Hornets finished the year with a 20-4 record.
