Champions crowned at the 2016 State Track & Field Meet in La Crosse

Team and individual champions were crowned at the State Track and Field Meet in La Crosse on Friday and Saturday.

Event Results:

In Team Rankings, Brookfield East captured the Division 1 boys title, edging out Kettle Moraine and Middleton. Freedom was a repeat champion in D2, as Wisconsin Lutheran was the team runner-up after finishing in the same spot in D1 last year. There was a three-way tie for the title in Division 3, with Coleman, Marathon, and Wild Rose sharing the championship.

On the girls side, Milwaukee King was a run-away victor in the Division 1 field. Jefferson won the title in Division 2 with 44 points to edge out Wisconsin Lutheran. Cuba City was a repeat champion in Division 3.
