As part of the weekly preview I produce every Thursday showcasing the best games from around the state, I always highlight one contest as the Game of the Week. To expand on that, each week I'll post a poll where you -- the fans -- can vote for who you think will win the Game of the Week.

Royall (5-0, 3-0; D7 #7) at Bangor (5-0, 2-0; D7 #1) – Friday, 7 pm

Who would have thought even a couple weeks ago that this would even be a candidate for Game of the Week? But in a schedule relatively bereft of big games (this is one of just five Week 6 games between ranked teams), why not give the little guys a chance to shine? Royall has been one of the best stories of the year, starting 5-0 as the team is in search of its first playoff appearance since 2002. This is by far the toughest test of the year for the Panthers however. Bangor is the defending Division 7 state champion, and despite significant graduation losses, remains the top team in the WisSports.net Coaches Poll. The Cardinals have posted blowout wins in all but one game this year, as a versatile rushing attack features five players averaging at least 40 yards per game.
