Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of December 12 through 18. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: December 12-18

Hannah Butler, Black Hawk girls basketball: Butler finished with 22 points, 5 rebounds 4 assists, and 5 steals in their victory over Barneveld, 50-42, on Tuesday. The win ended Barneveld's 50-game Six Rivers-East winning streak. Hannah is averaging 18.6 points per game this season. 

Trevor Cook, Washburn boys basketball: Cook scored a career-best 39 points in the Castle Guards 70-60 win over Ironwood (MI) last Monday. Trevor is averaging 25.7 points per game this season. 

Makaylee Kuhn, Hilbert girls basketball: Kuhn scored a career-high 38 points in the Wolves win over Sheboygan Lutheran, 54-48, on Thursday; she finished with a triple double with 10 rebounds and 10 steals, while also contributing 4 assists in the victory. On Tuesday, Makaylee finished with 26 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals in their win over Green Bay NEW Lutheran, 53-52 in overtime. She is averaging 19.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.9 steals per game this season. 

Emma Peterson, Superior girls hockey: Peterson recorded a hat trick in the Spartans 5-2 win over North Shore (MIN) last Monday. Emma is 4th in the state in goals with 14 and 4th in the state in points with 21 so far this season. 

Drew Shrader, Belleville boys basketball: Shrader scored a career-high 47 points in the Wildcats 85-73 win over Poynette last Tuesday. Drew is averaging 26 points per game this season.
