Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of February 6 through 12. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: February 6-12

Dylan Bunders, Almond-Bancroft boys basketball: Bunders helped the Eagles move into a tie for first place in the CWC-10 after defeating Gresham (previously unbeaten in league play) 62-54 on Tuesday. Dylan finished with 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 assists in the win. Bunders scored 28 points in a 73-51 win against Menominee Indian on Thursday and tallied 24 points in the Eagles 93-34 victory over Tigerton on Friday. Bunders, a senior, is averaging 19.4 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per contest for Almond-Bancroft (16-2 overall, 13-1 in CWC-10). 

Rudy Montoya, Two Rivers boys basketball: Montoya scored a career-high 40 points and added 20 rebounds in a 84-66 win against Green Bay NEW Lutheran on Friday. In the Purple Raiders win over Kiel on Thursday, he tallied 18 points and 7 rebounds. Montoya, a senior, is averaging 16.6 points and 9 rebounds per game for Two Rivers (11-8 overall, 8-3 in EWC). 

Lexi Smith, Northland Pines girls basketball: Smith became the 20th girl in state history to surpass 2,000 career points in Friday's 64-48 win against Mosinee; she finished with 31 points in the win.  Lexi scored 37 points in a 70-65 loss to Lakeland on Tuesday. The senior and Northern Michigan recruit is averaging 25.6 points per game for the Eagles (14-7 overall, 6-5 in Great Northern). 

Darryl Williams, Chetek-Weyerhaeuser boys basketball: Williams scored a career-high 40 points in a 71-56 victory against Ladysmith on Friday. The senior is averaging 28.9 points, 2.4 assists, and 2.6 steals per game for the Bulldogs (9-9 overall, 7-5 in Heart O'North). 

Shemera Williams, Milwaukee Academy of Science girls basketball: Williams became the first player from the class of 2019 to surpass 1,000 career points in last Tuesday's 87-30 win against Carmen. She tied her career-high of 40 points in the win and added 6 rebounds, 12 assists, and 3 steals in the win. In the Novas 90-9 win over Destiny, Shemera finished with 35 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists, and 9 steals. Williams, a sophomore, is averaging 29.6 points, 8.6 rebounds, 10.1 assists, and 4.9 steals per game for Milwaukee Academy of Science (17-4 overall).
