Hattie Rennert of Shullsburg won the 2017 WIAA Girls 3-Point Challenge at the Resch Center in Green Bay Saturday morning.
10 participants were selected for the event based on stats information entered by coaches into the WisSports.net database. The top two three-point shooters (minimum 75 attempts) from each division were chosen to participate.
Schoonover scored 19 points in the opening round, 18 in the semi-finals, and 14 in the finals. Also participating in the finals was Tori Martell of Somerset.
In addition to those two, Brooklyn Paulson of Holmen and Justice Filip of Madison East were semi-finalists.
