Baraboo's Kody Weiland has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of April 24 through 30 after a vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 1,622 votes this week; Weiland received 581 of them, while Aquinas' Nicole Trussoni finished second with 537 votes. 

Weiland finished first in the long jump (22-11) at the Baraboo Relays on Friday, which is the state-best long jump this season.

He also ran a leg of the winning 4x200m relay, and finished second in the 100m dash (11.32) and triple jump (44-02.00) at the event.
