Whitefish Bay senior Taylor Kerwin has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of May 22 through 28 after a vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 2,179 votes this week; Kerwin received 765, while Laconia's Kayla Schwebke finished second with 563 votes. 

Kerwin recorded a hat trick in Whitefish Bay's 5-1 win over Grafton last Tuesday.

Taylor, a University of Louisville recruit, is tied for 8th in the state with 38 goals and is 11th in points with 81. 

Whitefish Bay opens WIAA Division 2 regional play on Saturday.
