Green Bay Southwest sophomore Jaddan Simmons has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of November 27 through December 3 after a vote on WSN.
There were 3,817 votes this week; Simmons received 1,329 votes, while Pewaukee senior Grant Basile, a Wright State recruit, finished second with 1,037 votes.
Simmons recorded her first career triple-double in the Trojans' win over Sheboygan North, 66-55, on Friday. She finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds and 12 steals, while also adding 4 assists in the victory.
Simmons, a Division I prospect, is averaging 22.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 5 steals and 3.3 assists per game for Green Bay Southwest.
She is the daughter of Green Bay Packers assistant Special Teams coach Jason Simmons.
The Trojans, coached by Erin Barkley, are 2-2 overall and have won their first two FRCC contests, making them one of three teams in the conference to start the conference season 2-0.
Green Bay Southwest hosts De Pere, last year's Division 1 state runner-up, on Friday.
