Kettle Moraine faced a must-win against Muskego last night if the Lasers wanted to keep their Classic Eight title hopes alive. Head coach Brad Bestor's crew led 33-29 at halftime, but it was a dogfight throughout. With the game tied with just a few seconds remaining, Kettle Moraine had the ball out of bounds under its own basket. The pass went to Nate Jenkins on the left wing, and he drained a game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Lasers to a 63-60 victory.
With the win, Kettle Moraine still holds out hope at a share of the Classic Eight title. The Lasers need to beat Mukwonago, currently in second and a half game ahead of the Lasers, next Saturday, plus Muskego to beat league-leading Arrowhead the same day.
