Champions crowned at the 2019 State Track & Field Meet in La Crosse

Richland Center junior Abby Rynes claimed the Division 2 girls pole vault title at the 2019 WIAA State Track & Field Meet

Team and individual champions were crowned at the State Track and Field Meet in La Crosse on Friday and Saturday.

Event Results:

In team results, the Kimberly boys team captured a third consecutive title in Division 1, edging out Waukesha North. Freedom won the Division 2 boys championship, finishing just 1.5 points ahead of second place Rice Lake. Aquinas ran away with the Division 3 crown.

On the girls side, Muskego ended up on top of Division 1, narrowly edging out Divine Savior Holy Angels. It was Wisconsin Lutheran who claimed the crown in Division 2. The Aquinas girls squad joined the Blugolds' boys team in winning a Division 3 title.

Racine Horlick won the girls wheelchair team title, with Chippewa Falls capturing the boys crown for a second straight season.
