About WSN, WISCONSIN SPORTS NETWORK

Over 85,000 student-athletes participate in high school athletics in the state of Wisconsin every year. WSN, WISCONSIN SPORTS NETWORK, is an integrated publishing company with a focus on these student-athletes, their communities, families, friends, fans, and coaches. Founded in 2002, WSN has brought their audience a unique and highly popular variety of quality content, including stats, standings, schedules, rosters, and stats leaders for teams around the state as well as expert analysis through original content such as player rankings, conference and season previews, in-depth playoff breakdowns, and much more.

In 2021, WSN joined rSchoolToday in its portfolio of school sports software companies which include VNN, RallyAroundUs, and WPA Network. Currently trusted by over 40% of US High Schools, the company's software helps athletics staff manage their day, engage with their fans, and promote their athletes online. Internet Publishing
We currently publish WisSports.net, the most popular high school sports site in Wisconsin. In addition, our site is one of the top five independently run high school sports sites in the nation.

Our initial launch was on November 18, 2002, and consisted of a high school basketball website Wishoops.net. It quickly became the number one resource for high school basketball information in the state of Wisconsin. Since we have added several other WIAA sports and have accumulated:

- 300+ million page views
- 1,000,000+ unique IP addresses
- Bookmarked over 2,000,000 times

Traditional Publishing

The Boys Basketball Yearbook produced by Mark Miller has become quite a tradition in the state. Featuring player rankings, schedules, rosters, and much more it is going on its 37th year. Content that was previously in the Gridiron Guide, Girls Basketball Yearbook, and WSN Illustrated print editions in the past has been moved online in recent years.

Partnerships

Wisconsin Sports Network partners with many Coaches Associations and media outlets to provide content, promote sports, and enhance coverage for all parties.

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

WSN entered into a partnership with the state's largest daily newspaper, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel nearly ten years ago. The agreement includes Journal Sentinel staff entering reported scores and stats information directly into the WSN database, with WSN powering the stats, standings, and results pages of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel prep sports pages. Schedules, rosters, and other content is shared between both sources as well.

Coaches Associations

Wisconsin Sports Network provides various services for several Coaches Associations, including the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association, Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association, and Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association. WSN also has positive working relationships with all of the Coaches Associations for the sports that we cover.

Media Partners
