Below are the Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of September 9 through September 15. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day. Athlete of the Week Nominees: September 9-15

Eva Beeth, Oshkosh West girls volleyball: Eva had an incredible weekend as she helped propel the Oshkosh West girls volleyball team to a 5-0 record and first place finish at the Kaukauna Invite. Throughout the day, Eva led the team with 31 kills and added 51 digs to help the team to gold.

Sydney Rabe, Laona/Wabeno girls volleyball: Laona/Wabeno went a perfect 4-0 at the Adams-Friendship Invite over the weekend, and Sydney was incredible. In the four wins, Sydney recorded 49 kills, 11 aces and five blocks in victories over Manawa, Neillsville/Granton, Columbus, and Princeton/Green Lake. Earlier in the week in a 3-0 sweep of Phelps, Sydney had ten kills and nine aces.

Jackson Beggs, Almond-Bancroft football: Jackson has been incredible all year for the division seven, eighth-ranked football team. Last Friday, he turned in another great performance in a 26-6 win over Pittsville. Jackson carried the ball 36 times for 264 yards and accounted for all four touchdowns for the winning Eagles.

Baron Buchholz, Waupun boys soccer: The Waupun boys soccer team picked up four wins this past week and Baron was a big reason why. In a 4-2 win over Central Wisconsin Christian, he had a goal and an assist. He followed that up with an incredible four goals and four assists in a 11-1 win over Winneconne. Baron then had four more goals in a 10-1 win over Campbellsport and finished the week off with two goals and an assist in a 4-0 win over Notre Dame. On the week, Baron had 11 goals and six assists in the four matches.

Logan Farrington, Union Grove boys soccer: Logan continued a great senior year for the Union Grove soccer team and passed a milestone along the way this past week. He began the week with three goals and two assists in a 7-2 win over Racine St. Catherine's and followed that up with four goals in a 9-0 win over Burlington. Logan then recorded his third hat trick of the week, scoring all three goals in a 3-3 tie with Wauwatosa East. In doing so, Logan surpassed 100 goals in his high school career.
