With the game tied at 51 with 3.3 seconds remaining, New Berlin Eisenhower had to go the length of the floor after Pewaukee tied the game up.

After an inbound pass to Minnesota signee Erin Hedman at the free throw line, she turned and made a great pass to Kylie Lemberger on the left wing and her shot banked to give the Lions a 53-51 upset win over D2 No. 3 Pewaukee.

Lemberger, a 5-foot-10 junior, finished with 13 points, including the game-winner for the Lions. Hedman, a 6-foot-3 senior, also finished with 13 points.

Nikki Dienberg, a 5-foot-7 junior, scored a game-high 17 points for coach Andy Monfre and the Lions.

Sarah Newcomer, a 5-foot-9 sophomore, finished with a team-best 16 points for coach Jim Reuter and the Pirates in the loss.

New Berlin Eisenhower moved to 6-5 overall and 5-1 in the Woodland West.

Pewaukee dropped to 10-3 overall and 4-1 in the Woodland West.
