Division 1

The Battle of Brookfield resulted in a change at the top of the Division 2 WisSports.net Boys Basketball Coaches Poll this week. With Brookfield East getting the win over Brookfield Central last Tuesday night, East moves up from third to first this week, while Central falls from first to third. Kimberly retains the number two spot. Without superstar Patrick Baldwin, Jr., Sussex Hamilton dropped a second game this year and drops out of the rankings, as do West Allis Central and Menomonee Falls. In this week are Bay Port, Oak Creek, and Franklin.

Division 2

Another division with a new top team, as Nicolet went down to Menomonee Falls on Saturday, dropping the Knights to second. Wisconsin Lutheran is off to a 5-0 start and jumps all the way up from fifth to occupy the number one position this week. River Falls is third, while Onalaska and Pewaukee round out the top five. Losses by Kaukauna and Cedarburg drop those teams a few spots, but they remain in the top ten.

Division 3

Racine St. Catherines' big comeback win over Martin Luther allowed the Angels to remain in the number one spot, followed once again by Saint John's NW Academies. Lake Mills went down to East Troy, causing the L-Cats to fall from third to sixth, while East Troy rises from sixth to fourth. Xavier also lost, to West De Pere, and the Hawks drop one spot to fifth. Catholic Memorial has played as tough of a schedule as any team in the division, and despite a 3-2 record, the Crusaders squeeze into the rankings this week at number ten.

Division 4

While Cuba City doesn't play its first game of the year until tonight against Mineral Point, the Cubans are still easily atop the Division 4 rankings. The Prairie Schools is second, with Darlington, Edgar, and Roncalli rounding out the top five. Roncalli is down one spot after a competitive loss against Division 1 ranked team Oak Creek. Kenosha St. Joseph enters the rankings for the first time this year at number ten.

Division 5

It was another very competitive week atop the Division 5 poll, with three different teams receiving first-place votes. In the end, the top five is unchanged, as Blair-Taylor narrowly leads the way over Lourdes Academy, Sheboygan Lutheran, Randolph, and Hustisford. Wauzeka-Steuben's loss to Boscobel dropped the Hornets out of the poll, with Columbus Catholic entering at number nine.
