Favorite Sport (and why): "For sure I love all the sports that I play; my favorite would be volleyball. The reason I love volleyball so much is because it is the ultimate team sport by far and it allows me to be in the moment. It is the sport that I have excelled in the most and without a doubt the sport I enjoy playing the most. My volleyball coach was amazing and taught me so much about the game and brought a culture of winning to Sauk Prairie and I am eternally grateful for her."

Best Part of High School Sports (and why): "The best part of high school sports hands down would be playing and bonding with my teammates (pregame jams with my teammates were very memorable). I have made lifelong friendships with my teammates that I would not have been able to make without high school sports. My coaches have taught me lifelong lesson on leadership and accountability. I will cherish the moments we had for the rest of my life. It is so awesome to share a love for the game and be able to compete side by side with my best friends. Not having a junior softball season really made me realize the importance of High School sports in my life. I feel blessed that we had a volleyball and basketball season during Covid."

Best Advice from a High School Coach: "The best advice I have received from a high school coach is from my volleyball coach (Coach Amy Schlimgen) – “The key is not the ‘will to win” … everybody has that. It is the will to prepare to win that is important.” While not a HS coach my dad always told me when he dropped me off for a practice or a game “You can control your attitude and your effort”."

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "The most memorable moment in my high school career (that I still get goosebumps thinking about) is the journey to state in volleyball my senior year. We were bumped up to Division 1 and did not have any respect until we beat the large Milwaukee area schools in regionals and knocked off Fox Valley Lutheran and Slinger to be sectional champs. The excitement of the community was truly amazing."

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "The best part about playing three sports is for sure meeting and getting to know various teammates and coaches. Being a well-rounded athlete helped me grow and expand my skill set in all the sports. I really enjoyed being a thee-sport athlete at Sauk Prairie."

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: "The toughest part about playing three sports would be time management. It takes personal sacrifices and discipline. While I did miss social gatherings with my friends and family it was worth it to get better and improve. There were many times where I had softball captain’s practices in the morning, basketball practice after school and club volleyball practice at night – those were tough nights having to eat supper in the car, doing homework in the car and studying for test.  My parents were crystal clear that my grades could not suffer because of sports."

Favorite Opponent (and why): "My favorite opponent would have to be Defo (Deforest) in basketball, my AAU coach’s daughter played for Defo thus it was fun to play against her and to see him. In volleyball it was Mount Horeb, we played them twice in the regular season each year; every set was a battle to the last point; the Mount Horeb girls were so nice and showed great sportsmanship too."

Favorite Professional Team: "My favorite professional team would be the Green Bay Packers."

Favorite Professional Athlete: "My favorite professional athlete is Arron Rodgers."

Favorite College Team: "My favorite college teams are Wisconsin Badgers and the UW-Oshkosh Titans."

Cumulative GPA: 3.85

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against (and why): "The toughest individual I have competed against is Maty Wilke (Beaver Dam and future Badger). I played against her six times and she was such a dominate player and such a smooth basketball player – she blew by me every time. I felt horrible that she hurt her knee her senior season and I wish her the best."

Most Admired High School Teammate (and why): "I have two.  Hannah Schneider because she was such a great role model and teammate my freshman year. Hannah taught me showed me how to be a positive leader and have energy at all times. Riley Breunig (the big sister I never had) is someone I admired greatly for her amazing athletic ability, her kindness and her overall tremendous caring for other people."

College Plans: "I plan on playing volleyball at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh!  I am very excited to be a Titan. I will be majoring in pre-occupational therapy."

Activities Outside of Sports: "Some activities I do outside of sports are; camping, hunting, fishing hanging out with friends, spending time with my three younger brothers, spending time with my family, showing sheep at the county fair and playing with my dog (Rosie)."
