Sun Prairie has two runner-up finishes in the last three state baseball tournaments, but the Cardinals have their sights set on some different hardware in 2021. With some very talented hitters coming back and promise in the pitching staff, Sun Prairie is picked as the number one team in the Baseball Wisconsin Yearbook Pre-Season Division 1 Rankings.

Rounding out the top five are Oak Creek, Bay Port, Eau Claire North, and Menomonee Falls.

Below are the preseason spring baseball rankings courtesy of the Baseball Wisconsin Yearbook. The 2021 book is the 29th edition, 214 pages in length and in full color. Written and edited by Joe Waite and Chris Lavold, it features a season breakdown for every high school and college program in the state.
