There will be no playoffs for the alternate spring football teams, which means there are no divisional placements. In an effort to continue to recognize the outstanding teams and players while placing and evaluating teams in somewhat like-sized groupings, we will be using Large Schools (1000+ enrollment), Medium Schools (999-400), and Small Schools (399 or under) designations.

Large Schools

The top couple spots in the Large Schools Coaches Poll were further solidified when top-ranked Fond du Lac hammered Bay Port, and second-ranked Kimberly easily defeated former number four Appleton North. Sun Prairie remains third, with De Pere moving up to fourth and Waunakee leap-frogging up to fifth. Appleton North drops to seventh this week, while Middleton and La Crosse Centrall fall out completely after losses. That allows Racine Horlick and Pulaski to re-enter the poll. Of note, Fond du Lac will play Appleton North this week, and Waunakee takes on sixth-ranked DeForest.

Medium Schools

Notre Dame is again on top of the Medium Schools Coaches Poll, but the margin is razor thin over second-ranked Greendale. Menasha, Lodi, and Monroe round out the top five. After that, it's a bit jumbled, with a number of losses last week by teams ranked in the bottom half of the poll. G-E-T's defeat against Arcadia drops the Red Hawks to seventh, while Whitnall and Milwaukee Lutheran remain in the rankings despite losses last week. Jefferson makes its debut this season at number eight.

Small Schools

The top five of the Small Schools rankings remain unchanged, as Omro continues to lead the way, followed by Bangor, Lomira, Arcadia, and Black Hawk/Warren (IL). Saint Mary's Springs' third loss of the season, the most recent a 7-6 defeat to Mayville, has the Ledgers sliding further to ninth, as Mayville is up to sixth. Also dropping out this week is Royall, who lost a 7-6 game to Cashton, who is now the number ten team.

8-Player

Wisconsin Heights continues to dominate the 8-player rankings as the lone unbeaten. Oakfield is second once again, with Sturgeon Bay third. Wonewoc/Weston avenged an earlier loss to Kickapoo/La Farge, and the Silver Wolves take the place of the Predators in this week's poll at number four. Chequamegon remains fifth after having to cancel last week's game. This is the last week of the 8-player season.
