Fond du Lac senior quarterback Kyle Walljasper

What was a highly-competitive and entertaining de facto championship game turned into a route behind one of the most dominating rushing performances the state has ever seen. Fond du Lac pulled away from Kimberly in the third quarter for a 71-47 victory. Leading the way was quarterback Kyle Walljasper, who carried it just 16 times but went for 320 yards and five touchdowns. He added 82 passing yards and a touchdown as well. Running back Braelon Allen had a huge night as well with 12 carries for 270 yards and four touchdowns.

Kimberly's offense was clicking on Friday, but unfortunately 47 points wasn't nearly enough as the Papermakers went down to Fond du Lac 71-47. Kimberly quarterback Caden Pendleton had one of the best performances of his career, carving up the Fondy defense to the tune of 356 yards and two touchdowns on 19-of-28 passing. He added 44 yards and a touchdown on the ground as well.

Menasha had a 2019 Division 3 state championship game rematch with Deforest, and it couldn't have been more different than that last meeting. The 2019 game ended 8-7 as DeForest scored in the final minute to win, but things were just a bit higher-scoring on Friday, as DeForest pulled away for a 59-40 win. The Menasha offense had more than 400 yards in the game, and Luke Maurer caught eight passes for 221 yards and three touchdowns, finishing the spring season as the state leader in receiving yards (718) and touchdowns (10).
