The Kenosha St. Joseph's baseball team took home its fourth state title since 2005 behind an offensive explosion over the two tournament games.

The Lancers used 20 hits in two games to capture the WIAA Division 3 State Championship. The bats came alive early and often in each of the two contests.

The D3 state title game pitted Kenosha St. Joseph's against top-seeded Coleman.

A four-run first inning highlighted by a sac fly RBI by Andrew Setter, two-run single by Jacob Ashmus and an RBI single by Luke Schuler opened up the floodgates early for the Lancers.

Jack Davidson hit a sac-fly to extend the lead to 5-0 after two-innings. Coleman responded with three runs in the bottom of the third with an RBI single by Zach Zablocki, RBI by Ray Lemieux, and RBI groundout by Tyler Blanchard.

The Lancers responded with two runs in the top of the fourth on an RBI triple by Jack Davison and single by Brady Davidson that scored Jack. Coleman added one run in the sixth but that was it as St. Joe's won 7-4.

State SemiFinals

Kenosha St. Joseph's scored four runs in the second inning and seven in the fifth to ten-run rule Marathon in a five-inning, 11-1 semifinal win.

Max McCarville had three hits and four RBIs to lead the Lancers while Jack Davidson added a trio of hits and a pair of RBIs as well. St. Joe's tallied twelve hits in total in the five inning offensive explosion.

Andrew Setter took the mound for the Lancers and allowed just three hits and one earned run in a five-inning complete game.

Marathon collected just three hits and scored their lone run on a groundout by Jaden Koeller.

Brock Warren took the loss on the mound for the Red Raiders allowing six earned runs in four and two-thirds innings.

Coleman came into the state tourney as the top seed and ranked at the top of the Prep Baseball Report's Division 3 Rankings.

The Cougars mustered just three hits in their 6-3 victory, but took advantage of the five walks and two errors by Regis.

All runs by both teams were scored in the first and third innings, highlighted by a two-run single by Tyler Blanchard in the fourth to give Coleman a 5-4 lead.

Karson Casper got the win for the Cougars going six innings and allowing just two earned runs. Ray Lemieux came in, in the seventh inning for the save.

Despite outhitting Coleman 7-3, Regis came up short. On the mound Cole Selvig took the loss for the Ramblers, allowing five earned runs on just three hits, but walking five batters.
