Please note, divisional placement in our poll is based on our Enrollment Projections done earlier this year. Divisional placement in the WIAA playoffs is not determined until after the season and these projections can and will be different than the divisions at the end of the year.

Division 1

Franklin is still the top-ranked team in Division 1, though once again the second-ranked Kimberly Papermakers and third-ranked Sun Prairie Cardinals pulled a few number one votes. Franklin beat rival Oak Creek in Week 7 in the Kwik Trip Game of the Week, as the Knights dropped from sixth to ninth.

Division 2

No change in the upper portion of the D2 rankings, where Waunakee has a strong lead as the last unbeaten in the division. Hartford drops out this week, as Kaukauna re-enters the rankings at number ten.

Division 3

Greendale remains the number one team in the Division 3 WisSports.net Football Coaches Poll, with Luxemburg-Casco and Union Grove close behind. Baraboo's second loss in a row, this time to rival Reedsburg, caused the Thunderbirds to free fall out of the rankings after spending several weeks at number one. Moving in this week are Badger-Small foes Fort Atkinson and Mount Horeb/Barneveld.

Division 4

Catholic Memorial is still number one in Division 4, though perhaps surprisingly Ellsworth continues to steal a few number one votes each week. The big story in Division 4 was Lodi falling to Columbus in a big Capitol Conference tilt, as the Blue Devils dip from third to seventh, while Columbus rises from tenth to sixth. Freedom falls out of the rankings, as the team that beat the Irish, Denmark, moves in at number nine.

Division 5

Lake Country Lutheran is a near-unanimous selection as the top team in Division 5, which saw former fifth-ranked Cedar Grove-Belgium tumble out of the rankings after going down for the first time on the season to Hilbert.

Division 6

Regis and Colby continue to dominate the D6 poll, with Kenosha St. Joseph close behind in the third spot. Unbeaten Unity makes its debut in the rankings at number ten after Cuba City fell out of the rankings with a second loss.

Division 7

Reedsville continues to lead the way in Division 7, which did feature a couple changes in the top five. Bangor suffered a second straight loss, this one ending a 44-game conference winning streak in a defeat against Luther, and dropped from second to a tie for tenth. Potosi/Cassville had been fourth but went down to Black Hawk/Warren (IL), dropping into a tie with Bangor for the number ten position. Black Hawk/Warren (IL) enters at number nine this week. The top five consists of Reedsville, Hurley, Highland, Pacelli, and Edgar.

8-Player

Not much changed in the 8-Player Football Coaches Poll on WSN, with Gilman leading the way followed by Newman Catholic, Oakfield, Saint Mary Catholic/Valley Christian, and Prairie Farm in the top five. Wabeno/Laona remained unbeaten with a win over Three Lakes, and the Rebels took Three Lakes' spot in a tie for tenth this week.
