We asked, you voted, and Badger at Oak Creek has been selected as the Kwik Trip Game of the Week for Week 7 of the high school football season. A total of 9,410 votes were cast, as this one received 3,147 of those votes.

The Kwik Trip Game of the Week allows you, the fans, to pick what you feel is the biggest high school football game in the state each week. Not only will that game get featured on WisSports.net, but WSN General Manager Travis Wilson will make it his destination that week, with updates, photos, videos, and stories from the big game.

And of course, no trip to a big game in Wisconsin would be complete without a stop or two at Kwik Trip! Kwik Trip is a family-owned company with more than 700 stores around the Midwest, and has the best selection of snacks, drinks, and of course gas to fuel your pre- or post-game needs. So what will it be for you...glazers, chocolate milk, or maybe Travis' favorite the Spicy Chicken Sandwich!

Badger and Union Grove are both undefeated in the Southern Lakes Conference, and with no one else within two games, the winner of this one secures at least a share of the league title and has a good chance to claim an outright conference championship.

Badger's offense has really kicked it into high gear as Cole Berghorn is already over 1500 rushing yards with 21 touchdowns this season. Union Grove has been without standout running back Cody Cotton the last two weeks due to an injury.

"We know this is a huge game for us," said Badger head coach Matt Hensler. "I think the kids have embraced that. Games like this are the reason they play football and what they expect from our program. We are definitely excited. Union Grove is a great football team and the atmosphere should be awesome."

As Union Grove has prepared this week, and every week, the Broncos' focus has been on maintaining a high level of intensity.

"Our mindset is we need to find Friday night energy and effort everyday at practice this week," said head coach Craig McClelland of Union Grove. "Being able to practice hard and fast to simulate Friday night is vital to our success. Badger is a very well-coached team, and limiting mental mistakes and playing a full game will be our keys to a successful Friday night."
