Bug Tussel Wireless Triple Threat Athlete of the Week: Dayton Lasack, Deerfield

The Bug Tussel Wireless Triple Threat Athlete of the Week is an honor given on to the top senior boys and girls three-sport athletes in the state. Players are recognized each week on WSN, with the a boys and girls winner of the Pat Richter Award at the end of the season to the best three-sport athlete of the year.

The goal and mission of Bug Tussel Wireless is to level the playing field for rural residents despite where they may live. Whether you work from home, your office is downtown or you are manning the family farm, they believe residents should be connected without having to compromise speed, price, quality, service or the environment.

Basketball Honors: Three-year varsity letter winner for the Demons ... Earned second-team all-Trailways South Conference honors as a junior after averaging 10.8 points and 4.4 rebounds ... Team captain ... A 6-foot-4 forward who has helped Deerfield to a 7-4 record to date under coach Nick Krull by averaging 11.5 points and 6.4 rebounds ... Earned Deerfield's Hustle Award as a junior. 

Track & Field Honors: Placed sixth in the 300-meter hurdles at the 2021 WIAA State Track and Field Meet with a time of 41.89 seconds ... Two-time letter winner entering senior season ...
