Antigo junior Alexandra Hofrichter has been selected as the RallyAroundUs Athlete of the Week for the week of January 24-30 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 3,596 total votes this week. Hofrichter topped all vote getters with 1,525 votes. Watertown Luther Prep's Grace Schmidt came in second with 905 votes.

Hofricther was part of a record setting weekend as she competed in the first ever WIAA Girls State Wrestling Tournament. The junior completed a perfect season by securing three pins on her way to a gold medal in the 152 pound weight class. Hofricther pinned Oak Creek's Isabella Olesen in the championship bout. She finished 24-0 on the 2021-22 season.
