The WIAA Team Wrestling State Tournament was held at the venerable UW Fieldhouse over the weekend, with three teams walking away with state titles.

In Division 1, top-seeded Kaukauna dominated Franklin in Friday's quarterfinals, scoring a 51-14 victory. The Ghosts got a tough test with Stoughton in the semi-finals but pulled out a 39-35 victory. In the championship match, Kaukauna capped an unbeaten dual season with a 35-24 victory against Holmen to repeat as the Division 1 team champion. It is their sixth team title, all coking since 2014.

Amery was a repeat champion in Division 2 as well, as the top-seeded Warriors downed Prairie du Chien 35-31 in a nail-biting semi-final before defeating Luxemburg-Casco 36-30 to grab the Division 2 title.

Fennimore missed the team tournament last season after six straight appearances but the Golden Eagles rebounded in a big way in 2022. Earning the second-seed in Division 3, Fennimore downed Saint Croix Falls 35-30 in the semi-finals. Against top-seeded Coleman in the championship bout, Fennimore pulled away late in the match for a 37-23 victory and the school's third team title.
