Westfield sophomore Carly Drew has been selected as the RallyAroundUs Athlete of the Week for the week of February 28 - March 6 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 2,591 total votes this week. Drew topped all vote getters with 1,372 votes. Verona/Edgewood's Annika Rufenacht came in second with 624 votes.

Drew was exceptional as she led Westfield to a pair of wins and a second consecutive WIAA State Tournament appearance. First in a 59-29 blowout of Auburndale, the sophomore guard scored a game high 25 points and added six steals and three assists. Westfield then squared off with Bonduel where Drew again had a team high 16 points in the 41-38 win. No bucket was bigger than the last for Drew. As time expired, Drew took an inbounds play and chucked a 30-foot, prayer of a hook shot, that went in at the buzzer to win the game.

Drew and the Pioneers will take on undefeated Mineral Point in the first WIAA State Tournament Division 4 semi-final game tonight, Thursday March 10th. Tip is set for 6:35 pm at the Resch Center.
