The versatile backcourt performer averaged 27.4 points, 9.7 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 2.4 steals. He finished his prep career with 1,264 points and scored a career-best 51 points in a victory over Coulee Christian/Providence this winter.

A four-year varsity player who scored 1,517 career points and went off for 56 in a sectional semifinal win over Saint Mary Catholic, Pautz earned Player of the Year honors in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference as a junior and senior. He averaged 25.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.5 steals as a senior while leading Roncalli to a 26-3 record.
