Favorite Sport (and why): "Throughout my many years of competing in a wide variety of sports, I have found myself calling basketball my favorite. This is the sport I have been in the longest, and have spent the most time practicing for. I have made many lifelong friendships, obtained innumerable memories, and learned countless life lessons throughout my basketball career."

Best Part of High School Sports (and why): "I think the best part of high school sports is meeting new people and gaining new friendships. There are times I have gone into a season not knowing many of my teammates, and came out of the season with new best friends. With that, high school sports have also provided me with some of my greatest memories and accomplishments that will no doubt stick with me for the rest of my life."

Best Advice from a High School Coach: "The best advice I have ever received from a high school coach was in Track and Field. My coach, Coach Martens, would tell me and my teammates that it doesn’t matter what times anyone else is running, you should be proud of yourself for how you are doing personally. It doesn't matter who wins, if you establish your own PR, that is something to celebrate. This allowed me to take a step back and recognize that all I really wanted was to do good personally, and not compare myself to others."

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "My most memorable moment in high school sports was in basketball when we played an undefeated team (Freedom) late in the season coming off of our first loss. This team was supposedly better than the one we had just lost to, and it was a doubleheader, which meant a big crowd. We went into this game knowing our worth, but also not being overly confident and cocky. It ended up being a great matchup, and it was neck and neck the whole game. Towards the end, we managed to make our free throws, and grow a four-point lead to finish out the game. This was a very memorable game because we played as a team, and most importantly, did not let our first loss ruin the streak we had going. Not to mention that this team made an amazing run at state, and was one of the best we have ever played."

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "The best part of playing three sports is getting three completely different experiences and memories to go along with them. You get to meet a wide variety of people, and create many friendships. Not to mention that each and every one of the sports make you a better overall athlete, and improve your performances."

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: "The toughest part of playing three sports is having to improve your performance in many different aspects. You truly have to put in the work in numerous areas, and make sure you don’t fall behind in the off-season. This means practicing all three sports no matter what season it actually is."

Favorite Opponent (and why): "If I had to pick a favorite opponent, it would be Lakeland. Not only did they challenge me in cross country, but they also came about in basketball. It was always a big goal of mine to beat them, and they definitely put up a fight every time no matter the outcome."

Favorite Professional Team: "Ever since I went to my first Packers game, I completely fell in love with the experience and all it has to offer, therefore, the Packers are my favorite professional team."

Favorite Professional Athlete: "My favorite professional athlete is Jaire Alexander, a cornerback who plays for the Packers. He puts in all the work, is great at his position, and on top of that, gives back to the community often."

Favorite College Team: "My favorite college team is the Wisconsin Badgers because that is who I have grown up watching and rooting for."

Cumulative GPA: 4.0

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against (and why): "Believe it or not, one of the toughest individuals I have competed against is my younger sister. I have only competed against her for one year, and it has definitely been a challenge. In cross country, she would do everything possible to stick right with me and give it everything she had. This ultimately worried me because there’s no way I would let her beat me, but at the same time, it was fun to watch her achieve her goals and strive in the sport."

Most Admired High School Teammate (and why): "My most admired high school teammate is Oliva Donahue. We were teammates for three years on multiple sports teams. She inspired me by always going the extra mile, never giving up in practice, giving it her all every race, and cheering on all her teammates. She pushed me to be the best that I can be and was happy for me whenever I accomplished something new. Olivia was a great example of a good teammate and captain, and I definitely strive to follow her example."

College Plans: "After high school, I plan to attend the University of Minnesota Duluth and major in biology. Adding to that, I will also be competing on their track and field team."

Activities Outside of Sports: "Outside of sports, I am involved in plenty of activities. I love to spend time at my family cottage, workout, hangout with my friends, go sledding, and so much more."

I Find it Relaxing to: "I find it relaxing to simply workout and listen to music."

Favorite TV Show: Criminal Minds

Favorite Movie: We Bought A Zoo

Favorite Musical Artist: "I actually don’t have a favorite musical artist, I listen to a wide variety of songs and don’t pay attention to the artists."

Favorite Subject: "My favorite subject in school is science, which includes both chemistry and biology."

Favorite Restaurant: "My favorite restaurant is Papillons because their Italian fries are absolutely amazing."

Favorite Website: "My favorite website is This is where my team and I get to see all of our practice times, personal records, school records, schedules, photos, and so much more."

Other Family Members: "My family consists of my parents, Jamie and Tom, my older brother Trey, and my younger sister Britt."
