FOOTBALL

Offense

Kaleb Blaha, Sophomore (Coon Rapids, Minn./Fridley), Quarterback of UW-River Falls 

Blaha compiled 315 yards of total offense during the 27-24 win over No. 16-ranked UW-Oshkosh, passing for 172 yards with one touchdown through the air, and rushing for two scores with 143 net yards on the ground.

Defense 

Michael Brown, Sophomore (Victoria, Minn./Chaska), Defensive Back of UW-River Falls 

Brown led the UW-River Falls defense to a 27-24 victory over No. 16-ranked UW-Oshkosh, collecting a pair of vital interceptions in the fourth quarter to take away any Titan comeback chances and preserve UW-River Falls’ three-point lead. His second interception of the game - and fourth of the season - came with under 30 seconds remaining in regulation and allowed the Falcons to run out the clock enroute to win. Brown also had four solo tackles in the contest.

Special Teams 

Andrew Schweigert, Senior (Sussex, Wis./Hamilton), Kicker/Punter of UW-Platteville 

Schweigert was a perfect four-for-four on extra point attempts and hit his lone field goal try from 45 yards out in a 31-3 triumph at UW-Stevens Point on Oct. 8. He also handled the punting duties for the Pioneers, punting twice for an average of 36 yards. He had one touchback on kick-offs.
